You might be wondering what connects “Presbyterian” and “beard oil.” To put it simply, I belong to the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), and many men in this denomination sport some impressive beards. Hence, it seemed like a natural fit to merge these two interests. Rest assured, you don’t need to be Presbyterian, or even adhere to any specific religious beliefs to use our products. The primary requirement is having some form of facial hair!

The story of Presbyterian Beard Oil began in the autumn of 2023, initially as a personal hobby and later evolving into a playful venture as I started naming the various scents I experimented with after notable church reformers, particularly those known for their impressive beards. Soon, I began sharing my beard oil with friends who, along with my wife, encouraged me to start selling them.

A bit about me: I am an ordained ruling elder in the Presbyterian Church in America, and my family and I are active members of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in McKinney, Texas. When I’m not crafting beard oil or serving at church, I devote my time to my full-time job at a technology company based in the Bay Area.
